Step 1. Diagnosis
When you turn on your iPhone 8 and see the Apple logo stuck in the screen. You can try to restore your device by launch the iTunes. If you see an unknown error 21 occurred, the possible reasons can be: hard disk poor soldering; hard disk damage; circuit damage; the communication damage between the hard disk and the CPU
Step 2. Repairing
Tear Down Motherboard
Remove the hard disk from the motherboard and clean it up. Next, you can use a hard disk programmer to transfer the date from the original hard disk to a new one.
Lay the soldering net on the motherboard. Scrape the solder paste, then heat and melt it.
Reassemble the New Hard Disk
Reassemble the new hard disk to make sure there is no gap in between, also the board current is measured as 80mA (after cooling down).
Step 3. Reassemble Test
Install the motherboard and restart the iPhone 8P. When the restore complete, case closed.
