Step 1. Function Test
To expand the iPhone 8 storage, we should test the function works well of the device.
Step 2. Motherboard Removal
To remove the motherboard, we must turn off and disassemble the iPhone.
Step 3. Tear Down the Hard Disk
Remove the hard disk in current position from the motherboard and remember to clean it up.
Step 4. Date Transfer
Use the hard disk programmer to back up transfer the date to a new hard disk (with 256GB storage) .
Step 5. Hard Disk Reballing
Set the soldering net in current position and reball the hard disk.
Step 6. Reassemble the New Hard Disk
Clean the motherboard and reassemble the new hard disk (256GB).
Step 7. Reassemble & Test
Install the motherboard and restore the iPhone 8. Finally, the iPhone 8 storage has been successfully upgraded from 64GB to 256GB, case closed.
